Christian Yelich scratched vs. Phillies with back soreness; Brewers expect weekend return
The Brewers scratched Christian Yelich late against the Phillies due to lower back soreness linked to post-surgery stiffness. Manager Pat Murphy said the DH is day-to-day and expected back for the weekend series vs. Pittsburgh after a rest day Thursday. Milwaukee still won 6-3 behind a five-run first inning.
